I have a 2003 3500 short box with a 48re and ever since I bought it there has been a low pitch vibration only when the truck shifts into overdrive. It goes away after 5 mph acceleration. I have driven other 03's that do the exact same thing. My dealer says it's normal. Then I talked to a different dealer and they said there is a TSB out on these trucks for the torque converters having some contamination in them and I should have it flushed and the fluid changed. If anyone has had the same problem, has any information on how to remedy or if you have heard of this TSB please reply.

I am not aware of a TSB but mine has done the same thing for 30,000 miles. If any one knows of a fix I could use the help to.

I'm not aware of any TSB either. But I have a vibration also in my trans/drivetrain. At 70 mph I am get a harmonic vibration, that makes the rear view mirrror vibrate to a point where I can't see the cars behind me. Not sure what h#ll is out of balance. Also I am continuosly getting a lazy shift into O/D at around 50 mph. I am planning on taking it in to have the dealer look at it. If I find out anything, I will let you know
