48RE plus Exhaust Brake

I've tried to search for an answer but don't seem to have one immediately come up. Have exhaust brakes been approved for use on the 2005 Dodge Diesel? Thanks, appreciate your help.

I don't believe the exhaust brake has been approved for the 48re yet and my guess is it will never get approval. With all the rumors of a new 5 or 6 speed auto in the works DC has probably given up on the 48re and is focusing on the new transmission. If I were a betting man, I would say the "new" transmission will be released e-brake compatible.
