OK... ... ... After doing a few searches and reading a few posts is it the general consensus to have the OD off in town regardless of the MPH? I have a stretch of road before my house I can get it up to 60/65 before I start slowing down.

I have noticed it seems like when I have the OD off it is not going into lock up until the OD is on... ... ... ... . as soon as I put the OD on say at 55 or 60 I am getting 2 shifts one drops the rpm down about 100 and the second about 400 or so. Does this sound normal? I dont want to cause any problems any sooner.

Thanks

JIM

Mine does this to. Id say instead of 55/60 put od on at around 50 mph. Also do you have your speedo done if not put od on at 45 and if it is recolo'd put it in at 50.

When I use the tow/haul (same as OD off) feature my 2004 the truck will lock the TC in third gear around 45mph.
