Just getting ready to do a fluid change on the '07. Did some research, found band adjustment specs, tighten both to 72 in. /lbs. and back the front off 1 3/4 turns and the rear backed off 3 turns. Are those figures correct ?

Also, do I need permatex for a pan gasket, or does it have a reusable gasket ??

And what about the filter. does it come with or need a gasket ??

TIA

Jeff

You likely won't need to adjust the reverse band as it is only used in reverse and is applied while stationary. Unless you back heavy loads or have high miles. The front band does need adjusting from time to time. Spec is tighten adjustment bolt to 72 inlb and back off 1 3/4 turn. Use ATF +4 and the pan gasket is reuseable, don't use sealer. HTH

And just so you know, in the "save you dollars" department, , local Walmarts out here in So Cal (LA Area) are now carrying Mopar AT+4 transmission fluid.
