4BT engine inquery

Cummins 4BT, Where can you get these engines? Thinking of a conversion with an old Jeep. Thanks guys

I would like one also. We have a bunch of them at school. They get them from shipping companies. If ya know of any good sized shipping companies give them a call.

A friend of mine just bought one from Frito Lay with 95k and a four speed for $2200 in Portland... . the rig gets 22-25 mpg and will go 55 up any hill...

guys look on ebay in the commercial motors part ive seens bread trucks, frito ly trucks and even mail trucks on there cheap. i think the mail trucks had the cummins im just not certain

i have a good running 4bt complete with starter,alt,bellhousing motor mounts etc for sale, -- email address removed --

I have a brand new, never been installed, still bolted to the shipping pallet 4bt for sale. Has the power steering pump, starter, mounts (was to go into a Suburban) etc. The only down side is it was purchased in 1990. But it's been in a garage or shop the entire time. Clean as a whistle.
