4bt In 80 Dodge

I AM INSTALLING A 4BT IN AN 80 D150 ,TURBO400 TRANS . THIS ALL CAME OUT OF A FRITO BOX VAN. TRANS IS AT AN ANGLE SINCE THE ENGINE WAS MOUNTED AT AN ANGLE,INTHE BOX VAN THE TRANS WAS STRAIGHT . CAN I RUN THE TRANS AT AN ANGLE IN THE DODGE ,MOUNTING THE ENG STRAIGHT????

I talked to a few transmission shops about that and they all recomended not running the transmission on a angle, However Cummins did approve the engine being tilted. I got my engine mounts from the chevy P-30 van and it uses the same engine mounts as the 89 ram diesel. This should be direct bolt in for your truck. you may have to modify the trans mount a little. That I am not sure of.
