73-87 chevy conversion intercooler?

Who's used Autoworld mounts on a 73-87 Chevy?

I have a 4bt Cummins That I am getting ready to put into a 74 W200 Power Wagon Funds are low at the time and need some advice. I need to know if the 4 spd Manual transmission will hold up and if so would there be any tricks that may help in mat6ing them together.

IF the 4speed in question is a cast iron case, NP435, SM420, yes it should hold up. A 4 speed will only give you a top end of about 55 mph and the engine on the governer with lots of engine noise and a loss of mileage. The economy range for the 4B is below 2000 rpm and best mileage is between 1500 and 1800 rpm.

Is that speed of 55 reguardless of gearing? I have 4. 10's now and have found a set of 3. 55's that I plan to swap to help that factor.

Low revving Cummins of around 2500 (if that) wide open, non-overdrive 1:1 transmission, 4. 10 gears = slow. Punch in the numbers on one of the online calculators (Randy's Ring & Pinion) to figure your speed.

If funds are low, keep it a gasser:p.

Gearing is everything.

3. 05 gears, 30" tall tires would be in the ballpark, but you'd be using first gear (granny) to get moving.

Do your self a favor and run all the numbers on gears/tires sizes before you bolt it together.
