I am getting close to road testing my 4BTA Engine Conversion.
However, I am not happy with temperature readings or electric fan turn on.
My Manual shows the right rear water port for heater and the port on the water inlet as heater return. I have my heater hooked that way.
On the top of the head next to the Thermostat housing are 3 ports (looking from the front left to right) I have used them as follows;
#1 Temperature sender to toemp gauge
#2 Has Pipe plug in place
#3 Electric Fan Switch
There is also a port on the water outlet elbow which is unused at this time.
My temp sender for the temp gauge was checked with a pan of boiling water before install. My gauge is right on. I am showing temps of 210 degrees and the fan switch is not seeing that temp to turn on the fan. I also checked this in boiling water and it does operate at 190 degrees.
What ports are you using for the Temp gauge sender and the electric fan switch.
