Offical Texas After-Rally Thread!!

Gulfport? Biloxi? Longbeach?

Folks,

You may have been leaked information about this event already. Here is what is planned so far.

April 12 and 13th are the event dates. I have two RV parks nearby for those travelling to the event. Cabelas and an Outlet mall are conveniently located for those travelling with significant others.

We will run all regular trucks for prizes and trophies on Saturday including a show-n-shine contest. We have a number of vendors interested in participating. Many are offering prizes and money for the competition.

Sunday will start off with the Texas Big Dog challenge. This is a new part of the event. Trucks will need to show a dyno sheet with a minimum of 650HP to compete. Separate prizes will be awarded for this event. There is already a single sponsor adding $1000 plus a top end for a Cummins 5. 9 with Cam to the winner.

More information and details will be available shortly on our website. Central Texas Diesel :: Index.

I have heard a trickle of info about the Big Dawg Dyno and some real Hp junkies are looking to come, some from as far as Cali. ... . more to come...

and Co-sponsoring the Big Dawg D. D. right Dawg...

I'll mix you up some special Juice, see if flames come out the exhaust...

Jared

The Big Dawg Event is put up or shut up. Winner takes the clear title of biggist, baddist truck in the South.

We aren't looking for those pretty trucks to show some smoke... .

That smoke needs to mean you're making some power. It will be a very even measure. This dyno is very consistent.

You bring it and push it to the limits. Maybe it wins and maybe it doesn't. Trailer it, pull it, who cares. I know of some BIG trucks in Texas that have yet to see their equal.

We want to see no holds barred for the amount of sponsor ship and interest we're seeing. Our sponsors are putting up some shut up money to see the bigget of the big.

Ok what Caveman hasen't said is we need a minimum of 10 trucks to do this event. 2 maybe 3 runs of everything you got so be prepared, we had 3 trucks over 750hp last year and that was for the regular event with the prize money we should see alot of Nasty rigs.

We are looking at $150 to enter and a guarenteed 1st place of $1000 plus a complete performance valve train by Hamilton Diesel: including HD springs, cam, and pushrods. Or something else special if it's not a Cummins...

Second place paying 2/3rds of the profit from the event and.

Third paying 1/3 of the $.

Jared

P. S. also still taking sponsors to help with the event, if interested please PM either me or Caveman.

Well is everyone going to be ready for this event, I've had alot of people ordering new stuff in anticipation to strut their stuff in April. I hope to have at least 3 600hp plus trucks that we have been working on there...

I should have pre-registration setup shortly. I am also including more detailed information about local events, RV Parks and locations.

Stay tuned... .

We have 73 entires so far. Some of these people registered more than once.

We also have 8 for the Big Dawg. So, we're on for Sunday. New Sunday start time is 10 AM.
