4th gen body mounts on a 3rd gen..

Thought about it, heard with a bit of modifying to the new body mounts it can be done, would love to see someone do it!

The main reason the 4th gen's ride better than the 3rd gen's is the body mounts, so put 4th gen body mounts on a 3rd gen and get a 4th gen ride with a 5. 9!

Someone get me a VIN from a fourth gen and I will use the Mega's VIN for a third gen reference. I will order one of each and set them on the desk, photograph and measure, and get this checked out.





Having not even looked at 4th gen yet do all the cab mounts appear to be the same for every location on the body???

On another Cummins web site, someone tried to do this on a 2008 MEGA CAB, but decided not to. I have attached the link for you to look at. He also included pictures to show why he thought it would not work.
