Hey yall,

Anyone able to take a picture of where there fog light plug is at the front of the truck? I found a harness online that has the male plug for each light and then a female plug for the rest of the harness but I am not sure where the male end of the plug is located at behind the grill.

I am getting the AlphaOBD and software this weekend and wanted to get parts together to setup my fogs to always be on when truck is running since I don't want to have to buy the fog/headlight switch.

Right now my fog lights are setup on there own 30amp harness and relay to a rocker switch on the dash between the cluster and radio bezel so its somewhat hidden but still a clean install, I'd just like to use that harness for something else up front and make the fogs more factoryish.

You have to add the harness. A guy on the ram forum makes to order the harness that runs from the engine bay down to the bumper harness. Or you have to buy the whole front end harness from Ram.

Tell him how you're doing it, you may want a longer harness to work with since you don't be going through the body computer. The one he makes isn't very long as the connections are close together for body computer use.

It is my finding here, on my 17 tradesman I found that there is no harness if you do not have a Fog Light switch on the headlight switch ( I think that is on the build). I used one of the AUX switches/relays to power my LED fog lights that I installed on my new front bumper.

Google M2 Mods to find the guy that makes this harness as well as others. He's on the Ram Forum as a vendor.

Thanks,
