The 4WD and Service indicator will not illuminate when I conduct the test on the instrument cluster. Has anyone seen this before and what did you do to get it to light up again. I replaced all of the light bulbs in the gauge cluster with LED's but the 4WD and Service light still wont come on

Warning lights under Tach not lighting up

2007 Dodge Ram 3500 QC 4x4, 116k, 5.9L. Stock as far as I can tell. Bought truck couple of weeks ago. Instrument lights in the red triangle below the tach worked. Drove it home (200 miles) and have been driving it around home. Now, the instrument lights in the red triangle below the tach don't work, except for the 'Cargo Light' on light. None of the other lights in the red triangle illuminate. Truck starts and runs same as it did before I signed the papers. They are a small dealer without a diesel tech and are about 4 hours away. Taking it back isn't an option I am interested in. I have wire brushed the 2 main ground connections by the batteries (have heard bad grounds do weird things). Looking under the dash for other grounds and will clean them as I locate them.
I removed the instrument cluster, checked the connectors (male and female). All pins are straight, they snap in position with no play. There are no codes displayed. Any direction someone can recommend for me to look? Lights under the speedo and other areas of instrument cluster light up as expected.
