Anyone that either has had both trucks or currently does have a 2wd and 4wd have any idea if you could run the ball joints from a 4wd truck on a 2wd truck?

I would imagine that the mounting thickness of where the bally joints would go is vastly different thus it wont work?

I am really looking at the Carli upper and lower joints for my 2012 2wd but not wanting to spend the 800$ and labor time for something that likely wont work. hence the thread and asking.

I also know that someone is going to say go buy a new truck but at the cost of new trucks these days and that I have almost paid this one off that not an option.
