My 4wd light works in 4 low but not in 4 high. 4WD is working fine so it's not a big concern. I haven't had a chance to check underneath cause I am at work, just looking to see if anyone can give me a good place to start. Thanks!

You've got a 2002 so you may or may not have a CAD. If you have a CAD, I believe the switch for the 4wd light is integral to the CAD housing thus reflecting that the CAD has engaged. Thus you say 4wd is good, and the Tcase is engaged, but you may not have drive power to the front wheels.

I don't know where the light is driven from on a non-CAD axle - probably from inside the Tcase - maybe where the CAD vacuum switch goes? But if it is on in lo and not hi, then I suspect something is not engaging properly.

There is no CAD. The light worked fine yesterday, just not this morning. I was wondering if any knows how the sensors are for the 4wd indicator. Are there 2 sensors maybe? I'll take a look at it later when I can. Thanks.

Well, I finally checked it and it seems to be working fine. I sprayed the linkage with some Croil and checked the connection. Thanks for the help. If anybody has any insight to what may have happened, I am sure it would be helpful the next time. Thanks again!
