Seems high to me. I bought all four ball joints for my 4X4 for about 300. I bought Moog joints, I understand them to be of decent quality. Maybe your looking at premium parts compared to mine.

Was the 151 per side or per joint??

Ummm, I don't know if that is per side or what... . And I am not sure it mentions the brand of track bar they offer, for $190 it better be pretty decent.

I just saw this place, they offer alot of moog components as well. Moog track bar for $130-something... check it out: RockAuto.com

on edit: I see they don't carry ball joints for 2K+ trucks... sorry

Toolman, don't remember the exact price I padi. But when I bought them, the only place that had them was the dealer. Nobody had replacements.

Try to get Moog if you can, they are much better quality. Maybe they have them by now.

Good luck,

George

Ball joints

Quick story on my ball joints

April of last year I bought axle joints for my truck. Came home to put them in couldn't get the rotors off. Tried every trick every mechanic told me, and they weren't coming off. Called the 4wheel drive shop in town "ooh yea, we can do that for you, couple hours labor, bring it in tomorrow" Well they couldn't, they had to torch my good ball joints to get the rotors on a press and push them off. My ball joints in April of 02 cost 217. 87 apiece, and I think he had to buy them from a dealer. My axle joints ended up costing me 958. 58, plus I bought the joints! That took a while to get over.
