Noticing strange noises coming from drive train at 65mph. Also, at very slow speed turn at tight radius can feel front wheels chugging, like maybe clutches are not slipping in front diff. I run Amsoil synthetic diff fluid with a 4oz friction modifier additive(from dealer). Any clues what gives here?

Assuming you are in 2 wheel drive it sounds like you have a bad wheel joint (u-joints at the wheels). Look for rust around the cups. Jack it up and spin the wheels while they are turned sharp. They should spin free and smooth. Also you don't have a limited slip in the front diff. from the factory so no clutches unless you or someone else changed it. What year truck do you have? Does it have the CAD (central axle disconnect)?
