Well, the verdict is in. I had the alignment checked on my 93 w350 4X4 last Friday and it's out . 2deg positive on the drivers side and . 2deg negative on the passenger side. The tire ware pattern looks like it's the other way around. The mechanic says that he doesn't usually try to change that small a number because it's within factory specs. All I know is that the tires are not wareing evenly. So, I ordered the special shims that are used to bring that . 2 down to . 06 on both sides. They came at a price though as they are $41 EACH! Seems like they are gold. Anyway, as long as it will "fix" the tire ware problem I don't care. I'll install them myself so it won't cost me that additional labor for the shop to do it. As I said before, looks like I'm going to "rebuild" this truck before it's over with.
