4X4 Ride quality 2500 vs. 3500

Thinking seriously about selling my 2005 YukonXL K2500 4X4 auto trans. Consdering any 2005 thru early 2007 RAM Diesel Long bed 4X4 standard transmission (want the 5.9L engine as have no need for greater power). Have driven and riden in a 2003 RAM 2500 4X4 standard transmission extensively and know it drives and rides very comfortably (better than my Yukon).
Question?
Should I even consider the 3500 RAM?, i.e. is the ride terribly worse than the 2500 4X4? Thanks for any experience you may share.

Springs on two are the same until you load to the extra overloads on the 3500. Ie same empty ride.

Fellas, thanks for the input. There is a low mileage, approx.105K miles, 3500 that is axactly what I am looking for. Your help is great for me to not miss a beautiful truck. Asking price is a bit high as expected, $30K. Hope I can make a deal for it.
