Auge's Dodge of Belen, NM (30 miles south of Albuquerque) will hold "4x4 101" a seminar series on four wheeling Saturday April 16, 2005. Y'all come!

What Joe said.

In the past years, this is what we have done:

First, we have seminars describing the basics for "beginner" fourwheelers. This club is mostly jeep people, by the way.

After the seminars, we take guests for rides in the Jeeps (and last year I got them to let us use a 01 1500 offroad) on the obstacle course that is built in a field. there is logs, mud, sand, rocks, and some other stuff. none of it is real hard, but it gives the people an idea of what four wheeling is all about. It was started to promote the Wrangler Rubicon. Hopefully this year we can maybe get a new Power Wagon to use, cause in years past I have had to take some people over the trail in my PW, and it probably wont be there this year.

It is put on by the NM 4-wheelers. Everyone is welcome. I think we charged a 5$ fee, and that included lunch and a T-shirt if I remember right.

I am very intersted in attending, and I should be home from Iraq by then and on leave. If everything works out right, I'll see ya there.

Hey Cowboy. Where are you from here in NM? If you check the NM members spotted page there are more updates to meets, like lunch and stuff.

Hope all is well with you guys over there.

C'mon Luis, you have seen the course. you know your CTD doesnt stand a chance!! :-laf

Actually, yes you can. After we are all done with the course, we have let people run it in their own vehicles in years past. We even had one idiot get his 4" lifted rubicon stuck in it!!!! it was a joke. Your CTD could have done it in 2wd with some good driving skills (which I know you have).

Im actually from central Texas, but I will be just getting back from Iraq, and itching to drive my new (to me) dodge ram Oo. on an extended trip to get the feel of it again. I also have plans for a chevy 4x4/cummins conversion when i get back.

Yep, our next "official" TDR chapter meeting. We'll show those Jeepers what real engines look like :) We carry Jeeps in the bed for spares Oo.

Funny you said that Joe, Saturday night I got a call from a "friend". He got his jeep wrangler stuck up on the west wesa. I know friends don't let friends drive jeeps, but I sure had a big smile on my face as I pulled him out. one shot.
