http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t253/Jmahnk/95 dodge/Hello all and once again I come with more questions! My sway bar links on the 95 definitely do not look right, they are kicked out at a weird angle and look like they have been hitting the bracket. #ad
Are they like this because they are just plain wore out or is there another problem. Truck has death wobbled before so maybe that knocked something out of whack. The front end needs to be gone through on this thing, its got 181k miles and the steering is really sloppy. The track bar bushing is shot and I was thinking about going with a Lukes link while I'm down there. More pics here http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t253/Jmahnk/95 dodge/

The whole sway bar is too far to the driver side. Hit it with a sledge to center it back up, it'll slide through the bushings at the frame. Energy Suspension makes a sway bar kit to replace all the rubber pieces.

Looks like its time to go thru the front end and replace all the worn parts. Have someone turn steering wheeel back and forth and check under the front or any loose links. The track bar is notorious for causing "death wobble". Don't ask me how I know.

I replaced my endlinks and bushings with energy suspensions poly bushings, poly sway bar bushings, and poly control arm bushings all from energy suspension. About $150 I think. Then I removed the lukes link on the track bar (keep coming loose) and replaced it with a Solid Steel Ind. adjustable 2003 type track bar and Solid State track bar bracket kit and DSS steering stabilizer and 3 turn PSC steering gear.

Now the truck is fun to drive and I can steer with one finger. The front end feels solid now. More fun to drive than my car.
