Replacing my vacuum harness that goes to the Transfer case. On the engine end of the harness one line is white and it connects under the hood to a black tube under the hood. The other line which is green is shorter and when I took the old one out it was already disconnected. Now I'm having trouble finding where to install the new one.

The old connection seemed to be behind #6 cylinder. Help:confused:

Thanks

Mike

I believe one goes to the cad, one goes to the passenger side and in to run the heater/ac controls, and the other one will double back under the drivers side battery box, to run the cruise control.

Thanks for the reply. I have connected the one line to the tee that is just under the rubber weather strip that runs the width of the engine compartment . The other line that is in this bundle is shorter and it ends up near the #6 cylinder. It is a green hose and has a Rubber fitting that goes to a right angle. I'm beginning to wonder if this fitting is supposed to not connect to anything. The part # for the harness is 52105317AB and is called Vacuum Line Harness from Transmission. Is there a spot for that Green hose to connect to. Our should it not connect to anything.

Thank You

Mike

Found it. I think. CAD stands for Central Axel Disconnect. Talked to Kent at 4x4

PosiLock in Mich. He thinks that the green hose is the vent for the transmission. I'm thinking hes right. after searching hells Half acre I cannot find anywhere for this to hookup. I definitely will be buying one of 4x4 PosiLocks

manual switches down the road. Now i have to figure out why my 4x4 light is on and I don't think I'm in 4 wheel drive. Maybe I have the vacuum hoses crossed.

Allsgood. 4x4 works. Learned a few things. Will be looking to get the PosiLock switch down the road. I like the sound of two wheel low. Thanks for the response all.

Take Care
