5.9 cold start trouble

The mornings have been between 30-40 here and my truck will barely start.
My electric gauge is within parameters, my batteries are new, no codes..

Any thoughts?

I would check all battery connections, wires, ground and contacts if its cranking slow.

It is cranking slow, hard to get it to start when cold.. Temp is only 30,

What he said. Probably going to end up replacing or rebuilding your starter.

If that does not work injectors might be returning too much fuel. Grid heater working?

not using straight 40wt oil or heavy aditives ?

This past summer, my truck starter cranking over slowly. I suspected old batteries, but it did the same thing while being jump started. I pulled the starter for a rebuild and it ended up having a brush problem. It was gone through by a local rebuilder and works fine now.

You can perform a voltage drop test to pinpoint your problem but as others have mentioned, I suspect it's your starter from your description.
