here ya go. I love the way it looks... I'm not a big fan of chrome. The aluminumized looks like it "could be factory", but just the sheer size of it turns a lot of heads (well... that and the wicked exhaust note)

thanks for the pics all.

rick, did your 4" originally come out at a 90*?

that's how mine is (stock 98 tailpipe with the slash part cut off), and i want an angle when i upgrade. i'll be getting the pipe and a specific muffler from berubes, but i'd like to buy a mandrel bent 5" tailpipe rather than piecing together a bunch of elbows (and i wont spend $200+ for the bullydog tp).

Chipstien, is that the Big Exhaust you have on there or another brand?

drawson, that's rips system? hmm, maybe i'll just get a tailpipe off of him.

I have a 6" Stainless tip on my 4" exhaust. I will try to get a picture of it tonight.

Does any one make anything to slip over my 5" exhaust that I will be using for the twins?

Nope, just went to the local Peterbuilt shop and got 2 five inch 90's and one 45 plus a ten ft. length of 5 inch pipe. Everything is aluminized and it all fit perfect. Made a 5 inch system for about 100 dollars. The chrome turn-down was about 25 dollars if my memory serves me right. I will go take a picture of the tail-pipe section and post it. :)

Oh yeah, the great thing about a turn-down is my whole ass end doesn't turn black from the soot like it did with the rusty stainless steel Banks exhaust.

5 into 6

Rip customizes a 4-6 by plasma cutting it at the transition. You do have to weld it on.

alright, so one of your 90s is the tip, turned up and back at a 45* angle, then the 90* over the axle, then the 45* elbow to the straight pipe? or how is that routed?

i have access to a welder (ie Dad). i can get 3 45* elbows and 1 90* from Berubes for about $120 and weld them together, but there's more time into grinding, fitting, etc. ... . just figured that it may be worth getting an aftermarket tailpipe from one of the vendors.

however, your truck has me thinking... i'd appreciate a picture!

Bah, I wasn't thinking right. You are close, I believe it was one 90, two 45's and one more 45 or maybe it was a 30. Pictures coming up.
