Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I have a 5 in straight pipe from the downpipe back with a piece of flex pipe in the downpipe. The flex pipe cured the drone I was getting in the cab at 2000-2200 rpm's and now I can hear a really annoying, loud, raspy BRAAAP!! at 2000-2200rpm's. At rpm's below 2000 it sounds great but accelerating with a steady foot or laying into it I get a terrible (straight piped Honda civic sound. )
I think I need some sort of resonator or small 5-in. race type muffler, I still want it good and loud but want to take the crackle out. Any advice on what I could do or which mufflers some of you guys are using? Thanks
