2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 5 Inch exhaust Mileage?

It seems as if noticeably I'm losing MPG's or @ least burning more fuel faster, Im not hot rodding @ all and the Fuel gauge seems to be moving faster than it did when I had 4'' magnaflow muffled?



Has anyone experienced this @ all? I hope Im dreaming...



BTW the 5" is STRAIGHT!!!

Some have said that backpressure is necessary for spool up quality and lack of it removes too much heat and hampers turbo performance. I had 5" and it definitly didnt help anything so now I have 4" dp to 4" muff to 5" muff to 5" tailpipe and it is only slightly quieter but I dont have any proof of what is best.
