Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 5 speeed question

i am looking to do a auto to 5speed swap. i have a 4x4 automatic and he has a 2wd 5 speed i know i would need a different transfer case but is there a way we can change my auto into a 2wd and his 5 speed in to a 4 wheel drive. what parts do me need to do that

Not trying to discourage you but it will probably be more trouble than it's worth.



For the NV4500 you will need a new output shaft, a different tail housing, and maybe a new driveshaft yoke.



For the auto you are basically looking at the same thing.



It's not that it can't be done, just more trouble and more parts.
