Dont forget its a diesel!!

Anyone in San Antonio?

Well go figure with the price of diesel these days... I left my truck at home last night with just shy of 3/4 tank of fuel, and when I went to use my truck this morning, I was sitting on Empty!!! :--) I know that it could have been worse, I read about guys whole trucks being taken from them in the middle of the night, and from work parking places... But This still has me MAD as one can get. Is there any lockable tank caps for diesel trucks? I don't think that you can use one made for a gasser, can you? I live in a smaller area, where I see people still leave their keys in the ignition when they go to Wal-Mart. Not that I do, but I am just saying that I can't belive it happened to me. :confused: Ruined my whole day.

I've been using the the locking cap since 2001. Just imagine what they could have put into your tank too :{

Thats the scary part :(

Ahhh... . Great, now I am going to have to really consider dropping the tank!!! I didn't even think about that. Does anyone know if the Fass system will filter out suger or other nasty stuff along those lines? :(

It could be worse. I've heard that some low-lifes will actually drill a 1" hole in the bottom of the fuel tank to drain the fuel out. Hopefully they will think it's gasoline and put it in their car.

Thats what they are doing around here. Consider yourself lucky if all they got was the fuel.

I'd be out over 300 bucks if someone stole all the fuel I can carry when I'm full.

Lots of water around here. Few concrete blocks around the house I don't really need.

No the gauge is working... When I filled back up again, it reads full, and has been moving slowly towards empty like normal. I have put on just over 150 miles, and it is moving correctly. Oh yeah, and the fact that it cost over $80 to fill up again. If it were just the sender, I should have only had to put in $20-$30. :{
