Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 53 blocks

call me dumb but want to know what year and model trucks had the 53

block problems. and whitch ones had the good blocks? thanks

my memory seems to recall late 12 valves up to and including 01. dont think cummins kept a list of serial numbers of the engines effected. hope this helps. i have a 53 block in my 98. 5. now have 368000 kms same block and injection pump.
