5er hitch on 3rd gen trucks

I have heard that dodge will only approve a certain brand (B & W) hitch on the 3rd gen trucks. IF you use another brand it will void the warranty. Can anyone confirm this?

Reese, Pullrite, and others, have rail mounting kits for the 3rd gens.



I'm running the Reese rails, myself!

There was a TSB issued about drilling the frame rails due to the fact that they are hydroformed. It has strict guidelines if you must drill the frame but there are several hitches that offer mounting kits that do not require drilling, B&W is one but pullrite and reese also offer no drill kits.
