5spd filter

Anyone using the Manual transmission filter from Geno's? I'm going to order on tonight and see how it does. Also, is anyone running Amsoil 5w40 in the old Getrag? All I need to know is if it is ok.



The 75w90 in working great in the diffs, transfer case.

I ran the Manual trans filter in my Getrash and now run it in my NV4500HD - all I can say is that it works. I also ran 5W50 full synthetic and had no problems with it. I was hoping that the 5W50 would quiet the Gertag down but it didn't. The old Gertag is real quiet now - sitting on my garage floor.

oops, I meant to say 5w30 my bad.



I'll order some from Amsoil and see how it does. I did the Mobil 1 + 1 qt and If I get the filter I'll have to change it anyway.
