5th Brake

Does the Aisin auto have a 5th brake on the back of the trans? I see one on that cut away trans in the pictures.

I don't know what a fifth brake is. Do you mean a parking brake?

No, there is no brake on the Aisin and I'm not familiar with the photo you're looking at so can't speculate on what you see.

You are most likely looking at the transmission outfitted for a heavier application, it is a parking brake.

Yes it is a parking brake. The cut away trans they had at the auto show had one on it. I just didn't know if it made it on to the trucks.
