2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 5th Gear Out Again!!! How do you fix??

Well, its out again... . 5th time this year, and first time to pop off since having the updated nut installed... . I need to get this put back on, but have heard you need special tools to do it properly... please let me know something pretty quick!

The only way to permanently fix it is to put in a fully splined mainshaft. Check with Standard Transmission in Fort Worth.

Thanks Y'all... I ended up calling the transmission shop where I had the work done before, and he was PI$$ED!! He has only had one other 5th gear nut fail, and I am #2... This guy is a dang perfectionist, as I have seen him at some of our Rodeos, and just to see the way he does everything when he pulls up... Anyways, He is going to see if the mainshaft is salvageable, and how much its going to be... . I will keep y'all updated... .

I just had my mainshaft replaced with the fully splined one after losing the nut twice in 6 months. PM me for price and details, way cheaper than the place that gets so talked about around here.
