blue book for rv travel trailers

WOW!

I liked Campsters comment: "If you get hit by a fiberglass RV in your "Super Dooty", you might lose?"

Glad the people were OK.

Like someone on the Phord site wrote, I'm surprised that the hitch head came off of the mounting rails.

More reason to have a dually.

Glad the people survived, sad for the dog though.

scary site

I'll bet it happened so fast they didn't know what happened. Glad to hear they were OK - Truck & camper can be replaced but people can't. I have an office mate that lost his rig(travel trailer) about 2 years ago due to an updraft - scary feeling he said. He walked away without a scratch. He now has a new 5ver and Phord f350 PSD dually. Loves that dually but too bad its a phord - been there done that and will never have another.

This happened almost a year ago, it made it onto my local news because the family lived in the area. They where very lucky, every time I see that photo I recheck the weight of the truck and camper to make sure I’m not over. :(

WOW

I think those people used up eight of their nine lives. I think the odds of survival, with no major injuries, were one in a million. I think they must have had their seatbelts on.

That might be the same story I saw last year. The couple had just bought the truck and the trailer.

Was the first trip with the trailer. The story I read had ice on the off ramp that contributed to the accident.

One of those rides that you lived to tell the tale!!
