5th wheel hitch and Rhino liners

Could someone who has a 5th wheel hitch and a spray in liner help me? If you put in a spray in box liner and then a 5th wheel hitch, do you need to cut out the liner for the hitch? Or can you install the hitch over the liner. Thanks

The hitch goes over the spray in liner. The best way though is to have all of the holes drilled for the hitch and then have the liner sprayed. That way you are not drilling through the liner. When they spray the liner, it will cover the bare metal from drilling. Looks great this way too.

Randy, I had Rhino Liner put in my dually about 3 years ago and then put my hitch in over the liner. I have gone about 15k miles towing my trailer and have had NO PROBLEMS.

Randy I have Line-x with 5th wheel hitch. I had the hitch in for about a year before having it sprayed. I removed the hitch to have it sprayed. You will have to redrill the holes. The liner doesn't completely fill the holes but fills them enough that bolts won't go thru.
PS: It looks great. Get a lot of complements.

Had hitch in truck before I got Line-X liner. Removed hitch and took rails in with the truck and they sprayed them too. As above, had to clean out the holes, also had to remove a little of the Line-X material from the rails where the hitch sits. I bought a can of spray liner and coated the bolts after I put the rails back in. Have had liner over a year and am very pleased. bg

Ive got a Una-Goose, the ball comes out and the safety chain hooks come off. . there is one 4" hole in the bed where it all comes through. I had it rhino lined without a problem.
