5th Wheel Tailgate?

Am in the process of building a 5th tailgate and want to keep the, "V" area as small as possible. Could some one measure their's to give me a guide line.

The top of the bed line to the bottom of the V is the main concern... ... . TIA

Top of tailgate to bottom of "v" (vertical distance) = 11. 5"



Top horizontal portion of "v" = 25"



Bottom horizontal portion of "v" = 15"

We've built a couple of these. . in each case, we've made the V based on the style of hitch in the truck and where its placed... . based on height.....

Hope this helps... Louis numbers look close to me... .

Thank's..... thats exactly what I needed. Looked at lots of pic's on the internet, but it was hard to tell.

Thanks Jim, I had the measurements to clear the hitch, but wanted some to confirm.....
