5th wheel tailgate?

I was cleaning out my parents garage, and ran across their J-Mac 5th wheel tailgate from their old 91 Dodge... . This is a louvered, aluminum, one that is in great condition!!!



Is anyone interested in it? Any offers?!? $$



I'm in SLC Utah, can ship if necessary at your expense.

If you can figure shipping (probably UPS) to Ames, IA, or a freight compsny (Yellow or the like) to Hartand, VT (or the closest hub to there), I'd be more than interested in taking it. What sort of money are you looking for besides shipping?

For everyone that PM'd me, yes the tailgate is still for sale! I know I told a few of you I'd get you pics today, but I ran into a problem with my camera, I should be getting some pics tuesday 9/30 and I'll post them here that night...

Here are the pics I took of the tailgate.



Full shot, can see the little bubbling from the welds on the 2 side cover pieces.

Clear shot of one of the ends, can see the slight bubbling from the factory welds. this picture really shows them more obviously than I've seen them in person!

Rear shot of one of the latches, and the mount for the catch cable/bar. I am not familiar with the 1g CTD's and dont know if they have a pin latch like my 3g, or if they have some other kind of latch. If they have a pin-latch you may need to make some kind of catch for the tailgate latch to contact.

The hinge pieces are both there, and they are slotted so you can easily center the tailgate on your truck. This was one of the top dollar units whaen it was new (approx '91)
