Per Automotive News FCA reporter Larry Vellequette:
"Later in the year, Ram plans to freshen its line of heavy-duty pickups, but it altered earlier plans to redesign its heavy haulers onto its new DT platform in favor of refreshing the current generation for another product cycle."

So apparently, the 2019 Ram 2500-5500 will get another refresh this fall, and are expected to hold the fort until the 2022 models. That's twelve years of the current body by the time the HDs get a true redesign. So I would expect a new interior and updated powertrains this fall, but the improvements we'll see next week with the redesigned Ram 1500 won't come to the HD trucks for several years.
