I got a guy who thinks he can get his 6. 0 in the 11's has anyone heard of this being done on a street truck?

Does ET from being pushed over a cliff count? :-laf :-laf

OR, maybe he's talking 1/8 mile...

It can be done TJ, we run against the red short box truckthat someone mentioned. It does run 11. 50's, not sure if it is considered a street truck or not, it is shortened, 2wd, 4 linked and runs big slicks, but it runs good. I don't think the average guy will have much luck making it happen though, I'm pretty sure it takes extensive work to the high pressure fuel system, plus the other stuff mentioned above. Guy name Gene (Weweld) who runs the truck, owned by somebody else named Brian I believe. There is a lot of info on it at SoCaps.com.

I think the basis behind the question is how realistic is it to have a street driven 6. 0L build enough power to make an 11 sec pass? I'm feeling trailer queen only on this my self. Anyone?

I saw him at High desert. I am talking about a full body daily driver.

well, lets see . . . .

38's + powerstoke = 21sec truck.

So, he's only off by one or two seconds(ish)!!

Maybe he's got that new 400 shot of nos to get her going!! :-laf

He probably has 600 horsepower with just a chip to huh :-laf  ? To bad it isnt as easy as adding up the chip with the horsepower from the factory.
