I really like this:

Optional Rapid-Heat supplemental cab heater is

available for vehicles with a 6. 4L diesel engine.

It provides warmer discharge air temperature to

allow the vehicle interior to heat up more quickly.

It includes a 200 Amp (67D) extra heavy duty

alternator.

Quick connects for the cooling system? That might be nice.

It says that the Cummins 6. 7 is painted red. Is it also painted red for the Dodge trucks?

So what does that tell ya?

Your buying a class 5 truck with a class 3 engine. Plus the way Ford defuels the engine it will be gutless. No one makes boxes for a Ford based Cummins.

I have driven a 650 with a 24 valve engine. I was lucky someone else owned it. I would have been very annoyed to have payed money for it myself.

personally i dont like the 7. 3/5. 9 or the 6. 0 in a medium application, under most circumstances. none of them are suitable from a power or longevity point of view. keep the power down, and you can get the job done, aswell as have a engine that will last a while. i have seen many 7. 3 engines last 3/400k in medium duty trucks like wreckers/box vans and buses. but in a medium used at full work load frequently, forget it. the 6. 4 will hit the ford medium line at a latter time, but production has to meet ih and ford pickup requirements, before the ford mediums get them.
