6.7 black smoke

6.7 230k mi egr deleted
driving down the road everything looking good stopped to fuel up when i started back up an pulled out on highway i noticed it was rolling black smoke like a freight train this went on for around a mile then cleared back up an has not done it since no loss of power are out of line indications
i have noticed this once before a couple thousand miles back
also is equipped with 4in megaflow exhaust
any thoughts on whats going on

Do you has some sort of tuner on the truck suck as a Smarty or Bully Dog? If not this could be your issues, but I would be surprise that the trucks runs at all without a tuner on the truck!

yea it has the bully dog set to performance

Black smoke sounds like over fueling. You may have to disconnect and reconnect the Bully Dog. Does the Bully Dog have delete capabilities?

Sounds like it went in to a re-gen cycle.

bully dog says the do not support the egr or dpf delete
i got this truck used an the previous owner had the deletes an exhaust install said it had a program on it but can not tell me who installed the program so with the B D im running stacked programs which i was told would be alright
i think i will take the B D program off an just use it to monitor boost an temp an see how it acts
only thing i hate i picked up around 4mpg an alot of power running the B D
