II has new 50, 80 and 120 HP and higher injectors out for the 6. 7, from what hear there is some good power that can be made with these trucks. we have had a few customers that are very happy with the way there trucks run now, and yes it has plenty of smoke. :D

Have you performed injector swaps in the 305/610's ? 350/650's ? Both ? It will be interesting to see all the performance mods for the 6. 7L's.

both have been torn apart and made much faster, the limited knowledge of the ecm is the next hurtle, but soon a few will have downloaders for them, and a few already have plug in boxes. the power is going nice when it all come around.

I would be really cautious with adding those injectors... ... it will not be long before somebody kills an exhaust system. Don't want to know how much that will cost.

Im wondering if one could figure out the total resistance on the sensors placed on the DPF and use a resistor in place of the sensor so the ECM would think the DPF is clean then remove the DPF and gut it out and replace it .

I am sure its possible. That would probably be my first step before I ran bigger injectors thru that expensive exhaust. If and when this becomes possible..... I would save all the components for warranty and or emissions testing.

Besides the obvious problem that I would guess the truck logs its regen cycles - no cycles would probably raise a few questions, as would too many. If anyone wants to discretely add power to these trucks, it looks like a SW problem/solution.

what do you mean, it wont be long before somebody kills the exhaust system.

guy, we are having a butt load of problems now. i'm going into the shop for the second time monday morning, i have 4300 miles. you put does injectors on it and you are going to have a crap load of problems. that exhaust system is not forgiving!! but good luck if you do it and keep us posted

The interesting part is the chevy guys already have gone straight thru with the lmm (2010 emision) dmax. No performance problems at all, only a cel. Seems the cummins may be a bit tricky when it comes to playing with the exhaust.

Put the factory back on until you get the sticker? Im gonna try to staight pipe mine next week I am welding bungs in the pipe and putting all of the sensors back in it if it works it works if it doesnt I will just put the factory crap back on I can live with a cel as long as it still runs right I will let you all know how it turns out.

Should be able to loop the sence lines for the DPF, they are just there to tell the ECM that the DPF is getting restricted. The other sensors are thermo/O2's type. The ones leading the CAT/DOC are for the engine ECM, the middle and aft of DPF, are for the regeneration process. They control the fuel delivery/temperature, as well as tell the ECM that the temp. is high enough to proceed with the clean cycle.

You will have to leave the sensors in place anything left unhooked from its harness will throw codes.

You may get some low temp codes from the exhaust, but from what I can understand the ECM is in standby until a restriction appears at the DPF/DOC. So let us know your results and findings.
