Did Chey 400 small block use simese cylinders, how they hold up??

Mixed reviews. HP junkies like them for obvious reasons, but the guys that really worked them in trucks said they had overheat issues.

You know, I've been looking at the cylinder design of the ISX and this new 6. 7L. IMO, I can't see how the Siamese Cylinders in this new 6. 7L are all that much different thermally than the Siamese wetsleeves in the ISX.

The only concern would be at this point how well the block deals with heat since there are no cooling jackets between the cylinders.



??????????? Seriously, there aint no damn cooling jackets in there?????

I just looked at photos/cutaways of 6. 7 on Dodge.com... . It shows a water jacket between cylinders.
