I forget the spec, but "low ash" oils must be used. I'm not sure about the others but Amsoil has their's on the market if you like synthetics. Not sure about the good petrol brands like Rotella, Delo, etc.

:) I like it a lot! Noticeably quieter, Pulls 14K with ease, Lower 1st and reverse, Less RPM's in 6th. I have a little over 1k miles on the clock, +-11 mpg

towing, +-16 hwy. It took me 70K to reach 15 and 20 with my 2005 I think this truck will get there faster. The engine brake works great and the auto stick gets a thumbs up.

 I do not like the new overhead, display is near imposable to read in daylight (radio display too)!

The radio clock is way too small to see as it was in my 2005, I guess were not suppose to worry about the time.

You must use a CJ-4 rated oil. This is a low ash, specifically designed for these emissioned engines. The wrong oil could plug the particulate filter .

After talking to my Diesel mech at D/C, the training siminar he attended says that the DPF is $8000. 00 if it's warranty is denied for wrong oil, gas or not using ULSD and using unaproved additives.

To meet the requirements of the 2007 6. 7 trucks, be sure you are using a CJ-4 rated engine oil. Lots of them out there, some better than others.

Any Suggestions on Brands that meet the Cummins CES 20081 requirement?

I assume the 'Cummins CES 20081' is referring to the new lower emmision requirements. Chevron is now making Delo 400'LE' for the 2007 engines which meets the CJ-4 API rating. It costs a bit more than the original Delo 400.
