Just added Laramie badge under my Cummins badge and removed the 3500 badge. My 5500 badges should be here next week. That should raise questions in the campground. My wife said today that men that do that type stuff are really missing something:-laf

I get questions about my "5500" badge all the time. My wife does not understand it either:rolleyes:

I just removed the 3 and replaced it with the 5 from my buddies 2500 that he debadged, cheapest mod so far:D

Can you imagine driving into a campground with a brand new 6. 7L cummins Dodge with aluminum 19. 5" 265x7xs with a 5500 Heavy Duty logo on the side and all the envious looks from the Ford/Chevy owners. It's all about preception. You have 3500 dually owners out there pulling what the new 5500 is rated for. Next thing you will see is a hotshoter with a 5500 with a 40 foot tractor/trailer container behind it.

Why do you think fat ugly old men drive sooped up vettes and big DC duallys. My wife says cause they have big egos and small xxxxxxs. :-laf

OK... except I don't have a sooped up vette... The rest of your description fits pretty well, though. :-laf:-laf:-laf

Re-badging

I agree... personalizing your truck is part of the fun. I'm re-badging my 06 into a pseudo-power wagon. I consider it nostalgic. Those who know... they'll ask. But most won't even notice. I'm doing so because I can.
