6" Exhaust

First off just wanted to say thanks for all of the great info thats on this site. Because of the TDR I now drive a Cummins!

Now the question. Those of you that are running or have run the Bullydog 6" exhaust what are your thoughts on the system pro's and con's. Right now i know its overkill but the future holds some 100hp sticks, a FASS and a set of twins :-laf maybe even a cam. I'm looking for an exhaust system that i can use now and will not have to change when the twins go on. It's going to be a few months before the twins so what can i expect from the kit while driving loaded and unloaded, DRONE? and will it have a nice deep sound to it. I have only seen one and I couldn't find the owner to talk to him about it. One more thing stacks will not work, the last ones turned the Mastercraft ski boat black on the inside, looking for a way to get that same sound. Is the 6" overkill for the twins  I thought that there was a post on this system sometime back but i wasn't able to find it

Thanks

I would say yes, 6" is overkill even for twins. Most of the really high hp trucks only run 5".

The other thing you will have to think about when you do twins is... you will have to change/modify your exhaust. Maybe not the pipe that goes to the back of the truck, but your downpipe will have to be changed, and that's the expensive part anyways.

Your bottom turbo will definitely be lower than your factory turbo is now, which would allow you to run 5" or 6" exhaust, but your bottom turbo with twins will likely use a clamp instead of the 2 bolts on the flange you have now.

Its a lot to think about. But if you're going to do twins and everything else that, that entails, changing your exhaust will be the least of your problems and probably cheaper than everything else too.
