6" Exhaust....who makes kits

I'm looking at going to a 6" exhaust! Has anyone else gone to it and what are your thoughts.



I figured I could build it from Pieces but I also have to look at kits for the non PITA factor.

Its hard to tell if thats 6" the whole way or just after the axle. It would be nice turbo back . . but at least from the down pipe back.

I don't see any problems w/ it... probably get a little close to the spare tire, but...

With the 6" kits you have to remove your spare tire. It really isn't needed unless you are up around 750 HP or above but it does look and sound cool.

Dang I sure have got allot of interest on this topic!



Actually what I was thinking of doing is the R&D thing and measuring the pressure in the down pipe then decide if it's worth spending the money. I don't really like loosing the spare idea so I might have to figure a way around that... ... ... remember it's go to stay like an "old man" truck

A stack out of the hood looks so cooooooooooooooooooooooool! I just built a 6'' system and it was a piece of cake to do. All it takes is time a patience. About 4 1/2 hours.

a couple of years ago at T. I. M. there was a company called extreme truck and trailer or something like that. They were selling a complete 6" kit, they had one on a 3rd gen at the time.
