Competition 6 spd, dyno in 5th or 6th?

Would it be best dynoing in 5th gear or 6th? Will better tq & hp numbers be acheived in 5th or 6th?



And why. Not for my set up (sig) question for a friend.

5th for HP, 6th for torque. A resistance type (mustang,ect. ) dyno is best as it will help build/hold boost.

I would say the same thing.....

ive done 5th for load dyno's and I think 6th works better for inertia dyno's, helps load the motor down to build boost/power.
