Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 6-speed conv?

I'm getting ready to do a 6-speed conversion on a 97. This will be the 2nd one I've done but I can't find a transmission. Has anyone dealt with Pheonix reman. trans. ? They are by far cheaper than anywhere else but so far they've given me 2 different prices. I called about 3 weeks ago when I first found them and it was $2880 shipped to my door and included core price. I called last Friday to order one and it was $3200. The guy on the phone was very rude when I told him that was not the orginal price I was quoted. He basically told me that the quote I got was wrong and to take it or leave it. I didn't take it. I don't want to buy a trans. from someone with customer service like that but I can't find one anywhere else where I don't have to have a core. Any any info on them good or bad would be great. Thanks!
