Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 6 Speed grinding

I just installed a six speed and the grinding in 3rd and sometimes in 2nd drives me crazy. I have heard of a occational grind but this is ridiculous. Any ideas? Thanks for any imput.

I am probably the last person to be giving advice. But when I did my conversion I had trouble with it grinding. I had replaced the master cyl with the new style. I ended up splicing about 1/4" extra into the rod that pushes into the master cyl. That fixed it. It wasn't releasing properly.
