Mine is an 03, HO, 2500, long box, 6 speed. The transmission has a noise which is sometimes louder than other times. I'm guessing that it is the same noise listed in several post. Sounds almost like a rod knocking, but quits when the clutch is dis-engaged. Dealer says it is a throw-out bearing and it is scheduled for replacement tomorrow. If it was a throw-out bearing wouldn't the noise change when pedal pressure is first applied?

TSB 06-001-03 has been listed in this forum as pertaining to 6 speed noise. Neither my dealer nor the ladies at DC have heard of this number. What gives?

The site www.alldata.com is supposed to list all recalls and TSB's and it list no such thing. Can anybody shed a little light on this number or whatever number applies?

Thats the correct TSB #. It is for replacing the clutch disk. They did mine and it quited it down but the trans is still noisy when I idle down the road after I turn off the highway going to the house about . 3 mile. Read this for more info

Well that did not work. It came out a different way than I put it in. Computers:mad: Go to the 2nd page of this thread and under 6sp rattle you will find the info.
